It is with great pleasure that we present to you a sampling of the fine paintings created by the talented Moncayo families of artists from Ecuador, South America. We feel certain that you will appreciate the beautiful manner in which they portray the snowcaps, landscapes and people of Ecuador, as well as their paintings of still-life and other subject matter.

Some of the art herein is available for sale, and a sampling is also available in our community "cyber-gallery" where you can see the versatile skills of these artists who do work on consignment as well.

We are very pleased and honored to be in contact with the Moncayo families, their relatives and descendants, and we have set up this site as a result of their request that we represent them in the U.S.

We are still accumulating accurate information to include on these pages, and will include it herein as soon as it is in order.

Values of paintings vary greatly dependent upon the size and condition of the painting, and the difficulty of subject matter. The quality and condition of the frame/framing also affects the value of the painting. We collect Moncayo paintings, and we represent the artists in the U.S. but, much as we would like to be able to help you with an appraisal, we are not professional appraisers and are therefore unfortunately unable to give you official values or estimates of value on any Moncayo paintings you may have.

If you have a Moncayo painting or paintings in your possession that is different from what we have, and you would like to share it with us or see it up on our "cyber gallery," we would be happy to put it up if you'll send us a clear picture, size and artist information, whether it is on canvas or board, as well as who *you* are so we can identify whose it is and that it is not ours. If you have previously sent us pictures of your art and do not see it on our pages, we apologize. A major computer crash completely destroyed the files of pictures we had prepared to put online and we request that you resend your pictures, and subsequent information in order for us to put them up for you. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are planning to be in Ecuador soon and are excited that we will be meeting with some of the artists themselves, as well as visiting the art galleries there to obtain more information for you. Keep our site bookmarked for updates in late 2001/ early 2002.
